Adventure into Nature The Adventure into Nature program encompasses a variety of different exploration activities in the natural environment of Phillip Island. (More information and VELS compliant materials available for booked groups). |

Archery Archery is a great activity in which participants are able to improve with a small amount of practice. Many times within the course of an hour-long activity, somebody who “could not even hit the target” to start with, can be hitting bullseyes. |
Canoeing Canoeing is great fun on the Resort’s two lakes. Group members learn the basics of canoeing, while enjoying the experience of being on the water, with a partner, and participating in some wild and safe games. |
Climbing Wall The large indoor climbing wall (in the auditorium) is a great all-weather challenge activity, with safety and confidence building at the forefront. |
Crate Climb The crate climb is a very popular all-weather activity, where the participant is securley harnessed as they attempt to “climb” as many stacked milk crates as they can manage before they all come tumbling down (at which point the participant is gently lowered to the ground). |
Flying Foxes The Resort has both small Flying Foxes (suitable for younger guests as well as guests with disabilities) and the huge Twin Flying Fox. The Twin Flying Fox allows the participant to travel harnessed for 300 metres. There are two cables two metres apart, so two participants can travel at the one time or see who reaches the other end first. |
Giant Swings The Resort’s three Giant Swings provide a safe and exciting challenge for participants of all ages. The haul team pull the harnessed participant to a height of up to 18 metres. The participant has complete control of how high they are raised, and thus are able to choose their own level of challenge. The participant pulls a rip cord to drop and swing. |
Challenge High Ropes The Resort has two Challenge High Ropes Courses that provide an opportunity for individual and/or group challenges requiring the application of individual and/or team skills. They foster self-confidence, group support and increased physical co-ordination and agility. The courses consist of many different high elements requiring a range of skills from participants. |
Team Rescue The Team Rescue is the ultimate in initiative and team-building activities. You and your friends have been involved in a plane crash and are caught on a mountain range in alpine conditions. All of you are fine except for one person who has major injuries that require hospitalisation. This person must be carried by stretcher down from the mountain range using the equipment that is provided. |
