Activities and Attractions

Adanac has a variety of activity options to suit the age, educational, and recreational requirements for all school groups.  As your camp approaches, our School’s Program Coordinator will work with you to develop a program tailored to your school’s identified needs and desired outcomes.  We are equipped to run a carefully planned and action-packed rotation schedule (click here for some samples of our activity rotation programs) for early primary groups through to year 12, and beyond.  Because of our age-specific activities, we are quite capable of running combined year level programs as well. 

If you are looking to draw out specific themes or outcomes, we can do that too.  Our recently developed Nature Program encompasses a number of different activities and educational topics.  The program covers the habitat and livelihood of on-site flora and fauna on land, in the air, and around our own lake.

As part of your program, we would be happy to schedule a trip including all necessary transportation to one of our many popular local attractions such as Healesville Sanctuary, Badger Creek Weir Reserve, the Natural Resource Conservation Centre, and the new ‘Wild about Fruit’ farms, just to name a few.
